Hektec's mechanical engineers are involved in the design of new (foundation) equipment and modifications to existing equipment of the Van 't Hek Group and for external customers.
In recent years, Hektec has designed complete piling and drilling rigs, floating equipment such as jack-up pontoons and an injection container. But also parts such as Piling Leaders and generator frames for piling rigs and a wall frame for the CPT device were developed at Hektec.
In addition to the design, the mechanical engineers are also responsible for making production drawings, supervising the construction and writing of manuals, testing against the Machinery Directive and supervising the CE process.
