My name is Wim Konijn (1988) and in 2008 I completed the MTS+ Mechanical Engineering course at Horizon College in Hoorn. In 2013 I graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the INHolland University of Applied Sciences in Alkmaar. During my graduation internship at Gebr. Van 't Hek, I gained my first experience with heavy mechanical engineering. After my internship at Van 't Hek, I joined Hektec.
After my studies, I continued to specialise in designing, calculating and drawing foundation equipment, which has to be adapted or newly built.
I focus on coming up with creative and practical solutions to challenging problems. From internal sheet piling with a working height of only two meters to prefabricated piles with a length of 45 meters. I design a suitable machine for this.
