Jaco [1969] graduated in Civil Engineering from the Hogeschool van Arnhem and Nijmegen in 2019 with a specialization in Construction. After his training, Jaco continued to specialize in geotechnical engineering by, among other things, following the CGF-1 training course. Jaco joined the Van 't Hek Group in 2016, started as a calculator for various parts of the group and then joined Hektec in 2018. Thanks to his broad work experience in civil engineering, also as an executive, Jaco has a practical view of the entire process from design up to and including realization.
In addition to his work, Jaco gives guest lectures at educational institutions and participates in the training of employees within the Van 't Hek Group.
In order to further develop Jaco will start in September 2019 with a Master's degree in Structural Engineering at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
